The Zeiss CP.3 (Compact Prime 3) lenses are the third generation of Zeiss’s acclaimed compact prime lens range, designed to deliver maximum optical performance with Zeiss glass in a lightweight, compact, and extraordinarily versatile format. With precision mechanical construction, a completely redesigned optical formula compared to the CP.2, and an aperture of T2.1 across the majority of focal lengths, the CP.3 lenses deliver a sharp, contrasty, high-resolution image with the characteristic three-dimensionality of Zeiss glass — without sacrificing the lightness and versatility that make them unique in their category. Their uniform 95mm front diameter across the full set and focus and iris gears in identical positions across all focal lengths make them an extraordinarily easy set to operate for the first assistant camera.

The CP.3 lenses are available in PL, EF, E, MFT, F and M43 mounts, making them the most versatile prime lens set on the market in terms of compatibility with cinema, broadcast, mirrorless, and DSLR cameras. The CP.3 XD version features Zeiss’s eXtended Data metadata system — compatible with /i Technology, Cooke /i, and ARRI LDS systems —, but the set we offer corresponds to the standard CP.3 version, without XD. Full Frame sensor coverage across all focal lengths. Robust all-metal construction, with focus scales engraved on both sides of the barrel and 270° of focus rotation.
