FUJINON 4K 19-90mm Rental

The Fujinon Cabrio ZK4.7×19 19-90mm T2.9 is the standard zoom of Fujinon’s ZK Cabrio family — the lightweight cinema zoom with the longest focal range available in its class for Super 35: covering a focal range of 19 to 90mm — zoom factor of 4.7x — with a maximum aperture of T2.9 and Super 35 sensor coverage with a 31.5mm diameter image circle, fully suited to 4K digital cinema cameras with S35 sensors. The most innovative feature of the Cabrio 19-90mm is its removable digital servo drive unit with a 16-bit encoder — when attached, the lens operates exactly like a traditional ENG-style broadcast lens with motorised zoom and focus servo; when removed, it becomes a fully standard PL cinema prime, ready for digital cinema, Steadicam, gimbal, and all industry-standard cinema accessories and follow focus motors. The most versatile tool in the ZK Cabrio system: cinema and broadcast in a single lens, at just 2.85 kg including the servo unit.

Its image is exceptional for a lens of such a wide range and low weight: outstanding 4K edge-to-edge optical performance — thanks to Fujifilm’s high-resolution optical system designed specifically for the demanding 4K Super 35 sensors —, circular 9-blade iris for the most natural and harmonious bokeh possible, luminous barrel markings for visibility in low-light shooting conditions, integrated macro function with a minimum focus distance of 0.37m in macro mode, flange focal distance adjustment, and full compatibility with both the LDS (Lens Data System) and Cooke /i Technology metadata systems. Remote control compatible with all industry-standard wireless cinema controllers as well as Fujinon’s own wired and wireless units. Standard MOD 0.8 cinema gears on focus, iris and zoom — even with the servo unit removed.
