The RED KOMODO 6K Monochrome is a Super 35 digital cinema camera purpose-built for the highest quality black and white photography and video. It shares the full specification of the standard KOMODO 6K but features a CMOS sensor without a colour filter array, resulting in nearly twice the sensitivity of the colour version (recommended ISO 2000), sharper detail, and 16+ stops of dynamic range — all in RED’s most compact body.

It features the same global shutter as the standard KOMODO, completely eliminating rolling shutter, and is also available in a full spectrum version capable of capturing light beyond the visible spectrum for even greater sensitivity.
