The ARRI ARRIMAX 18/12 kW is the most powerful daylight HMI fixture on the market, honoured with an Academy Award and the absolute benchmark for large-scale film and commercial productions requiring maximum light output. Its exclusive parabolic facetted 580 mm (22.8″) diameter MAX Technology® reflector — made from high-purity aluminium — provides continuous focus adjustment from 15° to 50° beam angle without requiring spread lenses, ensuring sharp, easily cuttable shadows at any distance.

The ARRIMAX 18/12 accepts both 18,000 W (GX51 base) and 12,000 W (GX38 base) lamps with no modification or adjustment whatsoever, thanks to the dual-pin-width lampholder specifically engineered by ARRI to eliminate mechanical stress on lamp pins. When operated with the EB MAX 18/12 electronic ballast, it is completely flicker-free and fully compatible with high frame rate shoots, VFX, commercials, and industrial applications. Compatible with the motorised BigBee yoke for remote positioning.
